Our thoughts
TLDR: This is one of our top choices of oxygen concentrators for patients with prescribed oxygen flow rates at one to five liters per minute.
We really like Inogen products and the G3 is no exception. The concentrator is lightweight and can accommodate prescribed oxygen flow rates from one to five (1-5lpm). Most users carry the Inogen G3 in its shoulder bag. This works fine for most people. However, some folks with shoulder issues can have difficulty with any weight on their shoulder.
It’s important to note that the Inogen G3 can deliver from one to five liters of oxygen per minute. While your prescription today may be at the lower end of that range, that can change. If your doctor decides that you to increase the oxygen flow the Inogen G3 can deliver up to five liters per minute (that’s the same range as a stationary home oxygen concentrator).
